Touring & CaMping
Queensberry Bay
Holiday Park

Like many caravan parks and camping sites, we work hard to give our self catering guests a truly special and relaxing break.
Unlike many parks these days we also remember our roots and recognise that our touring guests are important to Queensberry Bay. That’s why we have put so much effort into our luxury showers, our modern laundry and drying room and our Campers’ Kitchen – with the best views around!
For our Touring Guests in caravans, camper vans or pitching a tent - we have 5 types of pitch:
Shoreside Touring Pitches - these are our premium pitches with superb and uninterrupted sea views. They are the closest we have to hard standing, are well spaced and designated and are fully serviced with water and electric hook up included in the nightly price. Families are welcome on Shoreside pitches 1 to 3.
Fieldside Touring Piches - these pitches are situated towards the back of the Park and look over the surrounding countryside towards the Queensberry hills. They are often frequented by the pets in Pets Corner looking for conversation and carrots. Electric hook up is included in the nightly price and a water tap is located on the Fieldside area. Fieldside pitches are for adults only and tend to be rather quieter than Shoreside or Kiddies Corner.-
Kiddies’ Corner - most of our guests it must be said are couples of a certain age and our regular visitors tend to come here precisely because they know we have no facilities here for teenagers or younger adults (unless of course they want peace and quiet that is). We do however welcome well behaved children and have specific areas of the park set aside for them - we have the three pitches on Shoreside (above) and we have 4 pitches next to the Football area that we call our Kiddies’ Corner. Electric hook up is included in the nightly price and there is a water tap nearby. - Non-electric pitches - these pitches are cheaper than Shoreside, Fieldside or Kiddies Corner pitches and are located on softer, tent-peg-friendly ground. They don’t have the views of either Shoreside or Fieldside, but are more sheltered and suit those on a budget.
- Hiker’s pitches - being on the SUSTRANS route, we actively promote cycling and walking and offer these budget pitches for any hikers or cyclists who want to pitch their one-man tent for the night (or longer of course). In addition to our modern laundry facilities we also have a drying room - so if you’re unlucky enough to get caught in one of our showers, you can at least set off in the morning with dry clothes!
