1. What is your opening season?

We have a long 11 month season. We’re open to our “residents” (i.e. static caravan and static touring van owners) for 11 months of the year, closing for just one month - December.

Obviously the facilities available outside our main season (April to October) are significantly reduced.

2. What’s a static touring pitch?

Most parks offer seasonal touring pitches - where you stay for just the open season - and we do this as well. However we also have the facility to offer static touring on specific pitches - which is where your touring van stays on the park all year. Obviously it has to be chained down!

If you want a static touring pitch here you have to have been on the park as a seasonal touring van for a full season before you go onto the waiting list.

3. Are there any seasonal touring pitches on Shoreside?

Yes - but we can’t offer the facility to static touring vans.

No – unfortunately not. However the camping and caravanning club has a list of sites that do offer this facility – go to www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk for further information

6. Can I bring on my own static caravan?

It depends! We will consider it if we have the space available and depending on the age, condition and size of the static caravan. There would be a one off siting fee and an admission fee as well as pitch fee to pay.

The best thing is to call us and ask for further details.

7. Can I have a deck?

Yes - subject to constraints of appearance, materials used and size. Please see us if you are interested in a deck.

8. How long can my van stay on the park?

Every static van that we sell is guaranteed 15 years on its pitch. The exception to this is the front row of the static park, where the age limit is 10 years. Every new holiday lodge or Bothey is guaranteed 20 years on its pitch.

After the 10, 15 or 20 years the static caravans in the rest of the park can currently stay so long as they are clean and tidy, pass a gas certificate each year, are insured and fees are paid by the due date. They are given annual licences in this case.

In common with all parks we review our age restrictions on a regular basis, so do please check.
