ANNual & Running Costs

Annual Gas check - approximately £85
Must be CORGI or GAS SAFE. The price will vary depending on which engineer you choose - this is a guide only
Heating charges - approximately £700
Example only - using our letting units in 2011 with full gas central heating, wide open windows, heating left on day and night, etc and 94% occupancy.
Gas per metered unit - £1.80
Example only - charged on no profit basis - rate charged as at June 2011. Prices may rise or fall depending on our suppliers. Final charge depends on your own consumption.
Electric per metered unit - £0.16
Example only - charged on no profit basis - rate charged as at June 2011. Prices may rise or fall depending on our suppliers. Final charge depends on your own consumption.
Utilities standing charge - £0.12 per day
Insurance - please ask for a quote
Depends on age of unit and cover required. NB - If unit is within the primary licence agreement period, it must be insured on New for Old basis.
Insurance verification - £50
Charge per year - charge applies where you take your own insurance and covers our time for copying and for verification of policy and extent of cover.
Out of hours call out - £50.00
Before 9am and after 9pm
Water / washer - annual charge £130
Charge applies where you have an external water tap or a washing machine in your unit.
Reminder letters - £50
Admin charge per letter - charge applies where we have to remind you to provide information including a gas certificate or details of insurance cover (where you are not insured via our block).
