Caravan Park Facilities at
Queensberry Bay
Holiday Park
If we’ve learned one thing over the years that we’ve been at Queensberry Bay it's that as a business you can't sit still. You have to keep looking ahead for the next improvement, the next adventure.
If you don’t, then you’re taking your regular customers for granted – and that’s unforgivable!
That’s why, every year, we make sure we’ve done something, introduced something new, improved something - so that our regular guests will feel appreciated.
So, yes - we have everything that you’d expect of a top end 4 star park - and then some!
We have our small, licenced and well stocked shop - but we also make bacon rolls and coffee to die for and we sell Cream O’Galloway ice cream because that’s what our customers want. We also make sure that our prices are as low as they can possibly be. That won’t compete with Tesco - we can’t begin to - but in our own small way we feel we’re doing what we can for our guests in a tough climate. Anyone can sell Mars Bars at 60p plus - but we wouldn’t go back and we’re sure you wouldn’t either.- We have the best showers you’re ever likely to find - and it’s not us saying that, it’s our guests. We spent all that money on showers because touring is the life blood of this park and why should our tourers feel second best?
- Our Campers Kitchen may be basic - but it’s warm and dry and has the best view you’re likely to find - and again it’s not us saying that. Why did we put the kitchen in such a prime spot? Because touring and camping is important to us.
- And our spa is out of this world - and yes, even we say that!
Why did we put a spa on a caravan park? Because we believe that relaxation, well being and pampering should be available to all – not just the priviledged few who can afford the likes of a 5 star hotel.
We also do all we can behind the scenes to remove those niggling little things that can so easily spoil your peace and quiet - we cut grass only on weekdays, for example, and only between specific hours; we have specific policies on noise and unacceptable behaviour; we have a no ball games policy around the caravans - see our Letting Unit Terms & Conditions (PDF format, 104kb) AND / OR the Touring Terms & Conditions (PDF format, 104kb) ; and we deliberately have no pub, clubhouse or gaming rooms.
A bit old fashioned perhaps, but we make no apologies for this - and if you‘re looking for tranquillity, total relaxation and beautiful scenery, we have everything here you could need including:-
- Superb shower facilities for our touring guests.
- A tourism area within the shop displaying all manner of walks, drives, local information and pamphlets ideal for planning your excursions - and with staff on hand only too pleased to help you plan with local knowledge
- Pets corner for the younger members of the family with guinea pigs, rabbits, Shetland Ponies, donkeys, Alpacas and more.
- A small football field
- Private access to the tidal beach.
There's also loads to do in the surrounding area - have a look at Things to Do and you'll see what we mean!
