The Bothey is unique to Queensberry Bay and first appeared in 2006. It started life as a simple timber built log cabin but with its roots firmly in the traditions of the seaside beach hut.
With each new Bothey we commissioned we gradually adapted the feel so that our latest model is less of a beach hut and more of a luxury, if quaint, boudoir for 2!
It’s open plan, with partitioning of the bedroom and sitting / kitchen areas by drapes and curtains, and is light and airy in summer, warm and snug in winter, and wonderfully compact. How we fitted in the full sized double bed is one of life’s mysteries even for us!
The end result is the perfect spot for any couple looking for a get away break
A dining set on the veranda gives the ideal spot for a glass of wine on a warm summer evening – and the full length windows mean you can enjoy that sunset even when it’s no so warm!
Add to this the gas central heating, the sleek and modern kitchen area with fridge, combi-microwave and gas hob and the light and airy shower room - and you just know that you’re in for a stress free break.
