In the region

The most stunning thing about Queensberry Bay Holiday Park is our location in South West Scotland. Often bypassed by those seeking the beauty of the Highlands on the one hand, or the stunning views of the Lake District on the other, we are just half an hour from the busy border city of Carlisle but could be a million miles away!

What people say about us

This is my third visit here and yet again I have had an amazing experience!! On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming and its nice as they know me from last time! The road to the park has had all pot holes filled in since summer and is now great to drive on. I booked the pod this time (this is indoorcamping with facilities), there is a microwave, heater (under your control) tv, kettle, lighting, cutlery/plates/bowls, sockets and the beds can be singles down the side or made into a double. There are mats which are provided meaning you don’t need an airbed and these are so comfy that I’ve had greater nights sleep than at home!! The pod has a window at one end and a door at the other, it also has 2 windows with curtains.

Outside there is decking to sit on with a table and chairs and also the car can be parked at the side of the pod. The view is amazing as you are almost on the beach and can see all the wildlife, the sunsets here are unbelievable!! You are near the onsite shop/info and toilets/kitchen. The toilets are always extremely clean and the showers £1 for 5 mins are very powerful and hot.

The range of animals you can see and get up close with is ace from alpacas to donkeys. Would recommend for anyone from families to singles and couples. I’m coming back in may as they are getting some new style pods next year.
